Here’s a story about Snakebite Francisco
He had an itchy trigger finger
He had a chip on his shoulder
And some time to kill
Let me tell you about the time he caught his wife
In the arms of a stranger
It took no time to realize
There as time stood still
Well Snakebite went fistacuffs
He got caught in the rush
He didn’t think twice and before he knew it
He was leaving alone, crying into a phone
“I swear to God I didn’t mean to do it…”
He raced down to Mexico
To spend his life laying low
He tried to redeem his soul
While the time was borrowed
Then he pulled in a station
Feeling tired and anxious
Hoping for just one second to breath
A spark of conversation
A fiery exclamation
Said,”Son, don’t you move. You’re coming with me!”
All the engines did roar
All the sounds of the law
Well, Snakebite, he was surrounded
In the heat of the sun
The bullet from a gun
The shattered glass, and before he knew it
There was blood on the floor
His hands on the dashboard
He was praying, “God please forgive me.”
Then he opened the door
The cold was coming on strong
And that’s the end of Snakebite’s story.
